burning man

When your advised to go and doing something by a millionaire you know its time to make notes...so yeah this week I was told by a very crazy man to go to the Burning Man festival, in which hes volunteering at.  Burning Man has been going since 1986. Its in the Nevada desert in a place that only exists for the weekend, Black Rock City. Black Rock City becomes Neveda's third largest city during this time. They bascially burn some massive man (kinda like the wickerman) but I guess this has the whole 'sticking it to the man'. There is principles in Black Rock City they are which are radical inclusion, gifting (trading gifts instead of buying things), decommodification, radical self-reliance, radical self-expression (clothes aren't compulsory) ,communal effort, civic responsibility, leaving no trace, participation, and immediacy. So yeah my bank account is now being dedicated to be being a 'Burner'.
